Season's Greetings

The holidays are right around the corner and it is the perfect time to send greetings to all your loved ones to show that you care. It is the time to remember those wonderful and memorable moments spent together with your loved ones and appreciate all that you have. I for one love receiving a season greeting cards from old friends because it shows that even though we may not be in daily communication with each other, I have a special place in their heart. Holiday greetings are always a nice keepsake to put under the Christmas tree or in a keepsake album. Holiday greetings are mainly used for the purpose of wishing loved ones festive holidays and a happy new year.

There are a variety of holiday greeting cards that can be sent out. Some include a family picture, some include pictures representing the holidays, and some simply have a personalized message. Below I have included some examples that could be purchased. The examples below can be personalized and shipped out to you so that you can add an additional message if you wish.
Don’t forget to wish your love ones a happy holidays and a happy new year this year.

Happy Holidays!!!

INVITES vs. EVITE

We are the technology generation, which means we no longer feel the need to send actual greeting cards or invitations. Facebook, Smile Box, and other websites have made it easy for people to send invitations or greeting cards without ever having the need to use a stamp. While this might be very convenient for our busy schedules, it shows a lack of thoughtfulness. Ditch the e-mails, E-vites, and Facebook events for a more personalized and thoughtful card. Mailing out an actual card will mean a lot more to the receiver than just clicking a simple link. Although sending Evites reduces cost and time, actual invitations have a lot of benefits to keep in mind.

Why chose Invites

  • Add class to an event or greeting card
  • Add a personal touch
  • Elude to style and mood of event
  • Can be a keepsake
  • Help with theme of the event
  • More design and creativity

All about the Thank You note!

Have you ever wondered what occasions deserve a thank you card? Well wonder no more! I have made a list of a few occasions that deserve, and are entitled, a thank you note, as well as a few general rules to follow when composing a powerful thank you note.

Always send thank you cards for the following occasions:

• Bridal shower gifts
•Wedding gifts
•Baby shower gifts
•Holiday and birthday gifts
•Graduation and housewarming gifts
•After a job interview
•Whenever somebody does something for you that is helpful
•When you establish a new professional network
•To customers thanking for their business

How to write a thank you note:

There are a few components to a thank you card that must be addressed in order to write an effective thank you note.

• Addressing the thank you note: Always start with “Dear", followed by either adding the person’s name if it is a friend you've known for years, or adding Mr. or Ms. if it’s for someone you just met, such as a new professional connection.

• Express your gratitude: Say thank you for the gift or opportunity you have been given.

• Express what you plan to do with the gift or opportunity that was given to you. You could also express what the opportunity or gift meant to you.

•Build on the relationship of the giver: Mention your relationship and when you expect to see each other again. (this is great for a follow up to an interview)

•Restate your gratitude:“Thanks again!”

•Sign your note with regards: Sincerely…

Tips

•Always hand write your note
•Send the card in a timely manner: the sooner the better
•Be sincere in expressing your gratitude for the gesture

All Occasion Card Assortment

Greeting's everyone,

I wanted to start off today’s blog by telling you all a little bit about myself. I am originally from Central America, more specifically El Salvador. I moved to the United States thirteen years ago. In these thirteen years, I've gone to at least twelve different schools. Each time I've moved, I've met new people and made new friends. The amazing people I've met throughout my years will always have a special place in my heart, even if we are miles apart. One way I like to remind people that I am still thinking about them is through greeting cards. Juggling between work and school, I hardly have any time to go pick up greeting cards from the store, which is why I have an assortment of greeting cards that I keep on hand. This provides me with the convenience of having the greeting cards ready for when the opportunity arrives. Whenever there is a birthday, graduation, or anniversary, I find it very helpful to have a ready supply of these greeting cards. By doing so, I minimize the chance of me missing out on someone’s special moment.

I found an assortment of greeting cards online that can be very helpful to keep on hand, so you can always send out greetings without spending so much time and money. This assortment has 30 cards in total. The package includes birthday cards, appreciation cards, anniversary cards, plus more.

Welcome to my Blog

Hello world!!!
My name is Beatriz and this is my first time blogging. I set this blog up as a school project, but I really hope to continue it after my class ends.  I will be blogging about greeting cards, as well as other cards used for various occasions.
Greeting cards can stay with a person forever to help them relive memories of the “good old days”. I believe it is a lot more personal and it adds a special touch. Even though technology has changed the way people communicate with each other, I believe that greeting cards, birthday cards, thank you notes and many more will bring a smile on to someone’s face because you are thinking about them.
I really hope that my blogs and suggestions will help! If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to leave a comment.
That’s all for now, stay tuned and join me for my blogs that I will be posting!
